The 21 at Southgate birthday celebration campaign the sales competition with the most exciting & greatest experience our customers have ever seen. The competition sales ran from the 12 November - 12 January.

The competition required that the shoppers spend R300 or more at any Southgate stores to stand a chance to win groceries for a year to the value of R 21 000. 2 942 entries were realized through the sales competition from 5 000 entries forms that were printed, translating to an encouraging 59% response rate.

The final draw of the winner of the groceries for a year was awarded to the lucky winner Fiona Madatt. This made sure we gave our shoppers a memorable experience which saw the Southgate shoppers being rewarded. Our shoppers gift to winners the transparency of the process which in turn helped to gain their trust for future competitions.

Winter Fun and Games

Southgate Mall Super Kids Club hosts school holidays interactive, education & entertainment filled events for all its members. Southgate Super Kids Club members were invited to a stimulating filled of winter games @ our well-known wimpy court space @ Southgate mall on the 25th June - 08 July 2011.

The education & entertaining activities that the kids engaged in coloring in, reading books, jumping castle, kids movies, snake and  leather game playing & the Southgate mall mascot entertainer, while the parents saw the reimbursement of kids club as they left their children to be amused and looked after whilst they shop and it all contributed to a longer dwell time.

With discounts from our members at Southgate stores as sweets from heaven, wimpy with coloring competition & KFC, Carnival South with discounted tickets for games & also sausages salon, the kids were spoiled for choice.

While on the other dispense we engaged in winter fun and games road show to all the south primary schools catchment areas with the Southgate Mascot and the other Dressed up mascots. This was all done from the 20th - 23rd June 2011.

Children from the ages of 5 to 12 are encouraged to become valued Southgate Mall Super Kidz Club members to enjoy the benefits of discounts, entertainment, educational events and goodies. No fee is required for your eligibility of becoming a Southgate Mall Super Kidz Club valued member

The 21 at Southgate Birthday Celebration Campaign Lil Wayne Concert VIP Experience, the competition ran from the Southgate Ambassadors promoting and encouraging customers to enter online to win one of 21 of Lil Wayne’s tickets and a VIP experience.

Customers were encouraged to ‘like’ our facebook page to enter a competition where entrants will have the opportunity to win tickets to a Hip-hop concert.

21 winners enjoyed the utmost experience as VIP’s with limo bus from Southgate to the coca cola dome, spoiled with choice of their favorite drinks and food.
